We’ve all been here at some point…

We’ve all faced situations that drain our personal power and energy. Whether it’s a breakup, facing criticism for starting a new hobby or career, beating yourself up for not completing things fast enough, or dealing with someone close to you that always has something nasty to say and can’t stand to see you happy… I know, All these situation suck 🍑

Without structured planning, internal work, (or booting people out of your life) these problems can affect how you see yourself and create a negative domino effect diminishing what you think is possible. My goal is to help you tap into your inner strength and grow despite obstacles, allowing your passion to shine. Here are a few of my programs that help you do that:

My Story

A Roller Coaster of Highs and Lows

When I was a kid, I was chronically behind academically and had a difficult time focusing. This always made me feel behind compared to my peers. What I lacked in school I channeled into singing, theater, art, and fashion. As a teen, I would spend more time matching my earrings to my purse than on arithmetic. Unfortunately, my classmates weren’t huge fans of my eccentricity, which added to my feeling of isolation. It was a time in my life where I felt trapped and haunted by extremely dark thoughts. It was like that Nine Inch Nails song “Everyday is exactly the same.” The only way I felt a little relief was drawing in my sketchbook.

Luckily as a young adult, I learned from the college I attended that I had an impairment related to attention and short-term memory. To me, this felt like a missing key. I started to develop more compassion for myself and sought out positive personal development content to keep my motivation and spirits high.

I went on to study under incredible professors who helped me gain confidence in myself academically. Living in a hacker house full of top preforming engineering students from San Jose State also inspired me to put my best effort into school.

At the same time, that creative itch never went away. I’ve been sharing my passion for all things artistic on my YouTube channel since 2013 posting art techniques and tutorials. It felt good to share something that enabled me to channel my dark thoughts as a teen, helping others to use art as a tool for self-expression as well.

Over time I have learned strategies to manage my moods, deal with depression, and cultivate better relationships with people who are encouraging and want me to succeed. In the same way I had great professors who encouraged me to believe in myself, I aspire to share tips and best practices I’ve learned over the years to live a happy and productive life.
