Hi, I’m Heather LeBas!

I’m an artist, instructional designer, and productivity coach with a deep passion for how we learn, what motivates us, and how everyday habits shape our growth.

Becoming Focused.

What does it take to stop procrastinating and second-guessing yourself? To wake up elated about life moving towards your future with purpose?

As much as your mind tries to convince you otherwise, those patterns of doubt and self-sabotage aren’t permanent. They’re practiced. But if that’s true, so is the reverse.

What you Need to Know:

Your goals are not out of reach, they’re on the other side of a few powerful mindset shifts.

With the right strategies, we can rewire our thought patterns, break free from limiting beliefs, and build habits that align with who we want to become.

My Story

Blowing out my 24 candles, I already knew what I’d wish for:
“If I’m not successful by next year, I never want to blow out a candle again. I hope I get hit by a bus.” This wasn’t anything new. For years, I had been weighed down by overthinking and a relentless inner critic telling me:

“You’re too stupid to do anything with your life.”
“You’re useless.”
“No one cares about you.”

I don’t think my experience is unique. We’re taught from an early age that self-criticism is the answer—that if we’re hard enough on ourselves, we’ll improve. In reality, that kind of thinking drains our spark for life and leaves us feeling empty, even if we hit our goals.

Fast-forward, I started to change my inner dialogue. I went to therapy, found mentors, removed damaging relationships, and started devoting my free time to studying the work of leading psychologists and neuroscientists. I immersed myself in research around mindset, motivation, and behavior change and began applying it to my own life.

From my experience what I can tell you is: I’ve come to see that the brain of someone who is depressed or self-critical often operates like an addict’s. It can heal, but it requires intentional upkeep. That daily care comes from many places: how we eat, how we plan, and the way we speak to ourselves.

Each thought we have whether hopeful or harsh creates a chemical reaction in the brain. As Dr. Daniel Amen, who I received my Health Coaching Certification Training from in 2023 says:

“Whenever you have a happy thought, a hopeless thought, a helpless thought, or a critical thought, your brain releases chemicals to feel that. And it happens immediately.”

That’s why I’m so passionate about teaching these principles. We all need regular reminders to stay grounded, stay focused, and keep moving forward, one small shift at a time. I love helping people shape their ideas with clarity and build the structure to bring them to life.

Here’s how shifting my mindset has helped me:

Your vision is Possible

Trust me

You might think your goals are too out there or completely out of reach—but trust me, once you shift your mindset and start building the right habits, the doors open up.

In my 20’s, I pursued my dream of becoming a content creator on social media—something I always wanted to do, but doubted anyone would watch. I built an art-focused YouTube channel from the ground up, reaching over 3.8 million views developing a loyal following.

That momentum opened doors—I was featured in magazines and had the opportunity to intern for JD Lasica, one of CNET’s Top 100 media bloggers, where I learned the foundations of online strategy.

Committed to Growth & Learning

I graduated from San Jose State University, and later earned a professional certificate in Online Learning and Education from Duke University—something I never thought possible, given the learning challenges I faced growing up.

I went on to work at an IT startup building training programs alongside engineers from Veeam, and later collaborated with a Japanese based startup where I learned to curate Gen Z-focused content.

Whether it’s in my career, attending a sculpture workshop or earning new certifications, I’m always pushing myself to grow and learn something new and share it with you.

My Mission Today

Whether you’re thinking about moving across the country without knowing a soul (psst… it’s not easy, but it’s worth it), making a bold career leap, or simply reconnecting with something you love—like learning piano again—I’m here to help you build the tools to make it happen.
